“A Concert for a Cause” – This event will take place in Domsky Glass Studio gallery in Las Vegas

If you want to see and hear Sami Saula and some of his musician and dancer friends perform, don’t wait! The date is almost here ; the artist will be at Domsky Glass Studio in Las Vegas on May 22.

Originally from the town of Evry in the southern suburbs of Paris, Sami Saula is now a Cirque du Soleil acrobat and multi-instrumentalist in production at the MGM Grand. Las Vegas was an obvious choice when Cirque du Soleil recruited him for creating KÀ. Then, an injury led him to pursue his love of music.

In January 2015, he released a world music CD, titled “Awaken”, whose funds are used to help pay the dizzying medical expenses of his son Elann who suffers from hypogammaglobulinemia, a rare disease of the intestines.

Since Elann’s illness, Leslie and Sami Saula have received support from many people in the Cirque du Soleil “family”, and also the support of the owners of Domsky Glass Studio who generously provided the workshop where the event will be held. On this occasion there will be a live demonstration of glass blowing, and a prize worth 1,200 dollars (a piece of hand-blown glass artwork).

“This musical evening will be more than a simple concert; it will be an evening to create a musical and sensory experience while supporting a cause,” said Leslie Saula, Elann’s mother.

You will meet artists and dancers in an atmosphere full of curiosity, magic and rhythm… where only the language of music counts. This is a way for Leslie and Sami Saula to give back some of what they have received.
